Each year a Student Representative Council (SRC) is elected from students at Corpus Christi Primary School. Each class elects one member per term to the SRC. Children in Year 6 form the Executive Committee as part of their leadership voting. This executive committee comprises, in part, a President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer.
The Religious Education Coordinator of the school facilitates the operation of the SRC.
The SRC is responsible for the organisation of special school assemblies, representing the student body, fundraising for particular charities and providing a model of leadership, behaviour and responsibility for all students in the school.
The SRC is invited and encouraged to have input into school matters where appropriate. These are reported on by the Executive to the Principal at a time suitable to the Principal. Members of the SRC are responsible for feeding back information to their respective classes after their regular meetings. The executive committee will run the meetings themselves, taking turns to "chair" and "scribe".
A set agenda will be followed.
General Business will follow a set format:

Improvements we could make around our school |

Ideas to solve the problem |
When choosing a problem to discuss, the group needs to focus on one that they can make a difference to i.e. have the power to solve.
