The privacy and security of children and staff attending Corpus Christi School is of paramount importance. To this end, the material published on this web site follows these guidelines:

	Parental permission is sought before publishing full names of children, or photos of them where they are easily identified. This may not always be possible with larger group photos. Generally, parents will have consented (via a form) at the start of the year to have their child on the web site. However, we appreciate that this may be too generic for all instances and, as such, we are happy to deal with specific requests regarding the web site (see next point).
	Where specifically requested by parents, children's faces will be digitally altered to prevent identification. The example below (children not from Corpus Christi School) shows the methods of pixelating and blurring. The method chosen will be the one that most suits the final photo.

	First names only are used for children (except where parental permission provided).
	All images used are of a low quality. We consider the risk of digital abuse resulting from downloading high-quality images of children is too much of a risk to take!
	No home addresses are published.
	Unless otherwise requested, no personal teacher or parent details, other than first and last names, are published.
	This policy is ratified by the ICLT and P&F committees for the school and will be reviewed annually or as deemed necessary.
