Information Communication and Learning Technology

At Corpus Christi computers are used as a tool to enhance learning. Each classroom from Kindergarten to Year 6 is equipped with desktops and or wireless laptop computers. Computers are used across all key learning areas to engage our students in multiple ways.

Data projectors are available when explicitly teaching new concepts or computer skills. Digital cameras are also used by the students.

Each child is able to access a Learning Management System called “Editure Suite” from school and from home. Learning tasks are created and uploaded by the teachers. Every child has their own user name and password for access to their class page. Each class has work regularly placed on their class page for online access at home.

Every parent and child must sign a declaration agreeing to acceptable use of the internet at school. Teachers supervise student’s use of the internet at all times. Students need to be aware that all internet usage is monitored and that breaches are reported to the CSO.
